John Anderson, pastor of Cornerstone Baptist, was born in Atlanta, GA. He attended school in the Greater Atlanta area until his university days. Sensing God's calling upon his life to preach the Word of God, he enrolled in Crown College in Knoxville, TN and received his bachelor's degree in Pastoral Theology. He then moved to Los Angeles, California and completed a Master's degree in Religious Education from the West Coast Baptist College. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate degree in Theology. He served three years as an Associate Pastor in Tampa, FL, then moved to the greater Atlanta area and served in youth evangelism and missions for two years. Sensing the Lord leading he and his family to London, John, Sara, and their two children moved to London in September 2008. Pastor John is known for his expositional teaching and preaching of the Bible and practical application of Scripture. He enjoys his family, golfing, reading, biking, and anything else that has a "ball" involved! His favourite verse in the Bible is 2 Corinthians 4:7 "But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God and not of us."
